Do you want to love someone?

The secret to loving others is to learn how to love God and how God loves us. Until we learn the way God loves us we cannot know how to love others.

Ok, you are possibly saying, “Oh no, another religious nut.”

You are wise to be skeptical but just think about this for a second. We learn to love God by faith. We believe there is a God by faith alone. We must do the same thing to believe in other people and to continue to love them. Not only must we have faith in them we must also forgive them.

Now you will probably said, “Well, people will always let you down, lie to you, and betray your trust in them.”

True, that is why we must have God-like faith and forgiveness. And unless we value the God kind of love we will not have motivation to believe in and forgive others.

To continue to love someone we must have faith. We must respect people who do not always deserve our respect. We must learn to always see the good in them even when they cannot see the good in them selves.

We must hope, and confess that hope, as if it was a reality. And only then will our hope and faith become a reality. It is the magic of spiritual love and faith.

Learn to think from your heart as well as your head. Let your emotions help you find the good in others. Listen to music that inspires you to love. Think on positive thoughts and ignore the negative thoughts that do not profit any one.

Learn to love with pure divine love. Love by faith. Love unconditionally, and simply because you have made the decision to love someone.
